Qualifying teams will use CockroachDB serverless in their application. Judging will be based on creative and comprehensive use as well as the overall project idea. The winning team will receive a Special CockroachDB Trophy and $100 Amazon Gift Card for each member (up to 4).

Win up to $300 in Replit Cycles for the best hack built using Replit! To be eligible for this prize, your project must be built and hosted on Replit and a Repl link must be submitted for consideration. Projects will be judged based on Originality, Impact, and Execution. Note: All prize earnings will be granted to the team leader whose account is associated with the project.
We will have three prizes:

Tickets to Solana's 2023 Breakpoint conference in Amsterdam
The winning team that builds with Solana will receive tickets to our upcoming Breakpoint conference (from Oct 30 - Nov 3 in Amsterdam) All participants in Hack the North are also eligible to submit their project to the Solana global hackathon that started today called Hyperdrive. There are about $1m in total prizes and a university specific award of $20k.
